What is heartwood?
In a tree, the heartwood is the center core of strength and life. At Heartwood Church we nurture that strength in people and our community. The Bible teaches that an inward living strength of heart comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ, who makes us new from the inside out. A life grows stronger when a person faithfully connects to Jesus, the source of life, and Heartwood Church helps people make and grow that connection. In the midst of the cities of Oakdale, Maplewood, Woodbury, and Cottage Grove, we are the Heartwood! Heartwood Church grows community to connect people to abundant life.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to take your next step. At Heartwood, we believe Jesus invites us into abundant life—a life that’s honest, connected, and full of purpose. We’re learning to live that life together, and there’s room for you in the story.
