SUMMARY:Women's Retreat "Surviving the New Normal - Whatever that is!"
DESCRIPTION:We will be hosting a one day retreat with safety first in mind. The decision was made to change the topic for this years event to reflect the challenges we face due to the pandemic. We will be in groups at tables set up with social distancing in mind. You will stay at your table for the entire event. Group sessions & Worship will be held at these tables\, discussion time and lunch will all happen in table settings.\nWe know that it is important to gather together\, but we want you to feel safe as you take the time to socialize. Masks will not be required\, but will be recommended when social distancing is not possible. \nWe will focus on four key areas: Depression & Anxiety; Rest vs. Sabbath Rest; Church during COVID-19; and wrap up with a reminder that “God is in Control”. Each session will follow this format: Speaker reflection on topic\, Personal Reflection\, Group Discussion and Assessment/Action Plan. \nRegistration is from 8:30 – 9:00 am.  Sessions start at 9:00 am\nLunch and snacks will be provided and we will dismiss by 3:30. \nCost is $20.00 per person.    Due to social distancing there will be a limit of 50 people.

SUMMARY:47th Annual New Life Family Services Gala
DESCRIPTION:2020 is an unusual year to say the least. However\, we are still rooted in hope. Join our partner New Life Family Services for the annual Gala to hear inspiring messages of hope from both our clients and keynote speaker Kirk Walden. This year’s event will be free\, and we are offering both in person and virtual options. Whatever your comfort level\, we hope you will join us for this year’s Gala. \nFor the in-person option\, there are several venue protocols we are required to abide by. Based on today’s guidelines\, there is a maximum capacity of 250 guests\, and masks will be required in public spaces (lobby\, hallways\, etc.) and will be optional while seated at your table. Tables will be spaced at least 6 feet apart and table size will be based on your party size and/or comfort level. Parties will not be grouped together unless specified during registration.
