Memory Verses
- “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
- Philip proceeded to tell him the good news about Jesus, beginning with that Scripture. (Acts 8:35)
The Steps
- Relationship – Every disciple should have at least one non-Christian they are doing life with and praying for. Who’s your one?
- Testimony – Write down your personal redemption story. It should be short enough to share briefly, memorize, and contain the following information:
- What was your life like before Jesus?
- How did you come to faith in Jesus?
- What is God doing in your life now?
- Scriptures – Learn scriptures for sharing the Good News of salvation through Jesus.
- Speaking
- Learn to pray for people and have conversations that lead to spiritual topics using tools from Contagious Disciple Making.
- Facilitate a Discovery Bible Study.
- Share your personal redemption story and/or the Good news of salvation through Jesus with someone without faith.
- Missions – Learn about one of our supported missionaries and contact them.
