The Steps
- Relationship – Intentionally develop a friendship with a person of a different ethnicity and/or socio-economical level than you, with the intention of you being a learner.
- Education
- Assess your own cultural values using The Cultural Values Debrief.
- Educate yourself on social inequity. This can be completed through books, articles, videos, podcasts, and classes. Talk to your discipleship mentor to get suggestions on resources that would be inciteful and transformative for you. Here is a small sample of resource locations:
