You are Invited (Recap)

We started the Church year with a reminder that everyone is invited to be a part of God saving the world through Jesus. Zachariah showed us that God invites doubters, but people can still at on God’s will despite our doubts. Elizabeth showed us that God invites the disgraced, and that living free from shame changes lives. Mary showed us that God invites the devout, and we can live confidently in God’s will despite challenges. Joseph showed us that God invites the down to earth, and we can believe in what God dreams. We all may have a little bit of each of these characters in us, but we are all invited to be a part of personal and community transformation. The Kingdom of God has begun. Will we accept the invitation to live into that reality?
