COVID-19 March 17, 2020 Update

As we have our first case of COVID-19 now confirmed in Washington County and the CDC having recommended that social gatherings in groups of more than 10 people be avoided, we will not be gathering at the church facility for Sunday worship, and instead completely using and improving our online formats: Facebook Live and YouVersion Bible Events.

  • Online Access – Instructions and/or videos will be posted later with instructions on how to set up a YouVersion Bible account and how to access the Facebook Live video.
  • Small Groups – As our small group meetings fall below the 10 person threshold and involve a consistent community, they can continue to meet.
  • Giving – Although we are not meeting all together during this time, we are continuing to minister, to the community and each other, so it is important that we all continue to support the church financially as each is able. Secure online giving is available through Tithe.ly online or you can download the app for your smartphone. We are also working to get SASE for offerings out to our members who would rather use the U.S. Post Office.
  • Resuming Services – With things changing so rapidly, the leadership board hasn’t had an opportunity to meet other than by email exchanges. The best guest for resuming services is Friday, April 10, 2020. This is the date of the Red Cross Blood Drive (which should go on as planned regardless) and the Good Friday Worship Celebration at 7:00 p.m.

Please feel free to contact Pastor Paul with any questions, concerns, or needs.
